Since becoming a face of Louis Vuitton back in February, Emma Stone has shifted her wardrobe. The star’s willingness to experiment with fashion has led her towards a bold new look and a closet filled with Nicolas Ghesquière’s futuristic designsDesign is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns).Design has different connotations in different fields (see design disciplines below). In some cases the direct construction of an object (as in pottery, engineering, management, cowboy coding and graphic design) is also considered to be design.. This morning, at the Paris ceremony for the LVMH Prize, Stone wore a look from the label’s Cruise 2019 collection that reinvented a classic: the power suit. The black-and white ensemble channeled 1980s power dressing with a strong silhouette that played to her strengths. From its oversized shoulder pads tucked into high-waisted harem pantspants are an item of clothing worn from the waist to the ankles, covering both legs separately (rather than with cloth extending across both legs as in robes, skirts, and dresses). and cinched with a leather obi belt adorned with the famous LV logoA logo is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol used to aid and promote public recognition. It may be of an abstract or figurative design or include the text of the name it represents as in a logotype or wordmark., Stone’s daring outfit worked with the event’s theme of fashion innovation.
When it was paired with sneakers and silver earrings on the runway in St. Paul-de-Vence recently, the outfit looked youthful, but Stone’s take—with the addition of glossy high heels and a vivid red lip—was flat-out glamorous. The success of the outfit may have had something to do with the details—the tiniest monogram earrings, black suspenders, and the perfect mini bucket bag in Vuitton’s new semi rigid—but in any case, this modern power suit proves dressing for business doesn’t have to be boring.
